Another Flavia de Luce and last Maeve Binchy

I love Alan Bradley's mystery series starring Falvia de Luce, an eleven year old in 1950's England.  She is unlike any other sleuth to grace a mystery series.  Once again she uses her love of chemistry and potions plus intuition to find the true killer in Speaking From Among the Bones.  This is the fifth in the series.  I highly recommend it.

Maeve Binchy passed away just a couple of weeks after completing this novel, A Week in Winter, about the house guests of a house turned bed and breakfast on the northwest coast of Ireland.  We not only learn of the history of the renovation of the house but also the history and problems of the guests as their lives intertwine during a winter break.  I'm sorry that Maeve is gone.  Who else can flesh out so many characters in one novel.
