Provo 4th of July Parade

Thursday night all my Ostler kin began arriving in Provo.  After a come and go breakfast at our townhouse, they made their way to the parade route.  Glen had gone at 5 am to stake out a spot.

There was shade and spots for all . . .

including these cuties.

Yes, Old Navy got some business.  It was, after all, the 20th anniversary of Old Navy flag shirts.

There were marching bands,

military honor guards,

cute babies,

bag pipers,

knights in shining armor,

vintage cars and giant balloons.

All that crazy color is what you get when Google Fiber comes to town.

Grandpa Glen also packed 4th of July goody bags for all the kids.  That caused some excitement but what they really loved was the snappers as you can see by looking at the pavement.
