Labor Day Weekend

We had lots of visitors this weekend, the best kind.  GRANDKIDS!  The boys helped Grandpa Glen count out his change jar and eat pizza.  They also helped him by eating their way through a dozen doughnuts.

The girls created fairy houses in the backyard after swimming followed by ebelskivers served al fresco for breakfast.

Notice the detail.  That same care went into a multi-level doll house created out of the grand kid size table and chairs inside.  Yes, it did involve chairs being placed on the table.

The parents and younger siblings joined us on Monday afternoon for pulled pork sandwiches and yellow watermelon.  We were all surprised when I began to slice it up.  Grandpa purchased it and he claims that he thought it was red.

Whatever!  Every piece got eaten!  I mopped up this morning.  So glad that I needed to :)

We had yellow watermelon once, it was good! Looks like a very fun weekend, my boys spent a lot of time playing outside too- not building fairy houses but playing "war."
