Eating green

rainbow brights swiss chard

broccoli

broccoli, leaf lettuce and snow peas

Our carbon footprint is rather small, even with the trip to the nursery to buy seeds and seedlings last September. I love walking into the backyard for some fresh, rain washed green!

I've got to plant a container garden on our porch. I am going to head to town and get everything soon, just waiting for all the political excitement to die down. My friend Becky just planted a little garden here and she said it is growing great!

Fresh veggies and fruit are hard to come by here! They have all this amazing soil that they don't really use anymore and they import EVERYTHING! It is kind of sad. I hear mango season, for about six weeks in the summer, is the best, though. Looking forward to that.

Beautiful vegetables. Are these in or out of your greenhouse?

Out of the green house. Everything pictured grows great in an Arizona winter garden. So does spinach and cauliflower.

Janae, do I need to send you seeds?
