A week ago we celebrated our 39th anniversary in St. George. We went to a Three Dog Night concert in the beautiful red rock canyon that is Tuacahn. It was a very windy day in the western United States, but the wind died down once it got dark.
I think it is amazing how all the bands from my youth are still touring and entertaining in their 60's and 70's. It was so great to enjoy their music again. I have always loved the vocal talent of this group.
Glen's sister, Wylene, and her husband, Oni, joined us on this outing.
We find it hard to believe that we are now looking forward to our 40th. I read that research has shown that those married to optimistic people live longer and have a happier life. I hit the jackpot in that case. My Glen Jay is the most optimistic person that I know!
The next morning we were in the St. George Temple. We attended the sealing of newly adopted children to Glen's cousin, Jason, and his wife, Heidi. I shared about them earlier. It was one of the sweetest experiences of my life. Read more about this ordinance here.
