The color in the mountains has mostly dropped away but we did manage one last trip over the Alpine Loop two weeks ago.
It has been colder this October meaning earlier and faster fading colors.
If ever you are in Utah Valley in early October, you must take this drive.
It never disappoints. And you can see for miles and miles.
The quaking aspen are my favorites with golden leaves and white trunks.
Groves and groves of them.
Sun dappled leaves in motion are best seen from a moving car.
The top of Mt. Timpanogos is where snow falls first. Now the streets on the valley floor around me are showing their fall colors.
