Down Under Pots

I've not had success with growing tomatoes in those upside down containers as advertised. However, my husband has had great success using "Down Under Pots" which are made in Australia.

He has learned that there are certain plants which do best, even thrive, with this method. He has been most successful with coleus and begonia plants.

The method used is to plant small plants (six pack size are perfect) right side up and leave them thus for two weeks.

Then hang the "Down Under Pots" up and watch the magic.

The plants stems will curve upwards and leaves will gently surround the pot.
